Fees and Funding
We believe that every child should have access to high-quality early years education and are pleased to offer a range of government-funded childcare options to support families.
We accept a variety of funding entitlements, including funding for eligible 2-year-olds, universal funding for 3 and 4-year-olds, and additional funded hours for eligible working families.
If you are unsure what funding you may be entitled to, our team will be happy to discuss your circumstances and help you understand the options available.
Our hourly rate at Thatcham Pre-School is £7.50 per hour.
Fees may apply for families who are not eligible for funded childcare, as well as for any additional hours attended beyond a child's funded entitlement.

Voluntary Consumables Contribution
We ask families for a voluntary contribution of
£2.50 per week, which is invoiced termly.
These contributions help us provide healthy snacks,
creative resources, sensory and messy play materials,
and other everyday consumables that enrich children's
experiences and learning opportunities throughout
the preschool day.
As a registered charity, we greatly appreciate
the support of our families in helping us
continue to provide a high-quality learning
environment for all children.
